Uttar Pradesh government has released the list of public holidays for the year 2023 (Government School Holiday 2023, Holiday List Uttar Pradesh 2023).

Declaration of Government Holiday (Public Holiday) : The state government of Uttar Pradesh has announced the holiday list for administrative offices, educational institutions and banks.

In view of the cold wave conditions, the Uttar Pradesh government has ordered the closure of schools from class 8 to January 1, 2023 in 7 districts including Meerut, Bareilly and Aligarh. While the timings of the schools have been changed from 9 am to 3 pm. DM of different districts in Uttar Pradesh has declared holiday for schools due to cold.
