Agneepath Yojana or Agneepath Recruitment 2022 Scheme is a newly launched scheme of the Government of India for the recruitment of soldiers below the rank of commissioned officers in all the three services of the Armed Forces. This scheme has been started on 14th June 2022. Agneepath scheme will now be the only mode of recruitment in the Armed Forces – Army, Air Force and Navy
Through this scheme the Government of India is going to recruit 45,000 to 50,000 personnel every year. There were plans to enroll 46,000 youth through this scheme in September 2022 alone.

Pay Scale
Individuals enrolled under the Agneepath scheme will be paid an Agniveer package of Rs. 1 year 30,000/- per month with a fixed annual increment. In addition, risk and hardship, dress and travel allowance will be paid.

Indian Army Agneepath Recruitment Eligibility Criteria for
- Agniveer (General Duty): Educational Qualification: Passed in class 10th examination with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.
- Agniveer (Technical) / Agniveer (Technical) (Aviation & Ammunition Examiner)
Educational Qualification: Passed Class 12th Exam in Science Stream with Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English with Minimum 50% Marks and 40% in Each Subject. - Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper (Technical)

Age Limit: Candidates born between 29 December 1999 and 29 June 2005 (both days inclusive) are eligible to apply for Agniveer Vayu Posts. If a candidate clears all the stages of the selection process, then the upper age limit is 23 years as on the date of enrollment.
Educational Qualification: Science Subject: Candidates should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from a Board of Education listed as COBSE member with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. with. OR Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute with 50% marks in aggregate and Diploma Course in English with 50% marks ( or in Intermediate / Matric, if English is not a subject in the Diploma Course). OR Passed Two Years Professional Course with Non-Vocational Subject. Physics and Mathematics from State Education Boards/Councils listed in COBSE with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course (or in Intermediate/Matric, if English is not a subject in vocational course).
Other than Science subjects: Candidates must have passed Intermediate/10+2/equivalent examination in any discipline approved by the Central/State Board of Education listed as a COBSE member, with 50% marks in aggregate and English in with 50% marks. OR with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in vocational course from Boards of Education listed as COBSE member with 50% marks in aggregate and passed in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in vocational course.
Compulsory Medical Standards: The general medical standards for Agniveer Vayu are as follows:-
- Height: The minimum acceptable height is 152.5 cm. Is
- Chest: Minimum extent of expansion: 5 cms
- Weight: Proportionate to height and age.
- Corneal surgery (PRK/LASIK) is not acceptable. Applicable visual requirements as per Indian Air Force standards.
- Hearing: Candidate should have normal hearing i.e. able to hear loud whispers from a distance of 6 meters from each ear separately.
- Dentistry: Must have healthy gums, good set of teeth and at least 14 dental points.
- General Health: The candidate should be of normal anatomy without damage to any appendix. He should be free from any active or latent, acute or chronic, medical or surgical disability or infection and skin diseases. The candidate should be physically and mentally fit to perform duty in any part of the world, in any climate and terrain.

Examination Fee: An examination fee of Rs 250/- is to be paid by the candidate while registering for the online examination.
